2025 KMNC Representative Programme 

Representative Programmes – U14, U16 and U18

For 2025, we are excited to select teams to represent our Centre in each of the following age grades:

• Under 14
• Under 16
• Under 18

To successfully do this we welcome a pool of skilled netball players to make the most of this opportunity so please put your name forward and show us your best!

IMPORTANT:  Before signing up, we ask that you please carefully check Step 1 and Step 2 below​​​​​​​

Step 1 – Eligibility checks

Under 14:  If you are year 8 you must be:

• born in the year 2012 & MUST be participating in the Junior A grade or 

13 years of age on 1 January 2025

Under 16:  You must be 14 or 15 years of age on 1 January 2025.

Under 18:  You must be 16 or 17 years of age on 1 January 2025.

plus

• You must be living in the Porirua Area and attending a local school.
• You must be currently registered to a school or club affiliated to the 2025 Kapi Mana Netball Centre winter competitions that are played at Mungavin Park or Te Rauparaha Arena, Porirua.

Step 2: Try-outs, training & tournament commitments – once aware of dates/your availability please sign-up.

• You must participate in at least one try-out.
• Players considered for selection should be available to attend all trainings & tournaments.
• However if not possible, you may still sign-up! Just clearly communicate to us.

U14 Representatives - Head Coach - Nani Beganovich

Tournaments: Selected players must be available to play at all of the following events

• Saturday 31^st May & Sunday 1^st June 2025 - Marjorie Jenden Tournament hosted by Kapi Mana Netball Centre @ Mungavin Netball Courts Porirua 
• Sunday 29^th June – Tuesday 1^st July 2025 - North Island Junior Championships hosted by Netball Taranaki at Waiwhakaiho Park Netball Courts, ​​​​​​​605 Devon Street East, New Plymouth (travel dates - depart Saturday 28^th June, return Tuesday 1^st July). 

Fees:TBC per participant.  

U16 Represntatives - Head Coach - Chelsea Karika

Tournaments: Selected players must be available to play at all of the following events

• Saturday 31^st May & Sunday 1^st June 2025 - Marjorie Jenden Tournament hosted by Kapi Mana Netball Centre @ Mungavin Netball Courts Porirua 
• Sunday 15^th June 2025 – Wellington Centres Combined Invitational Tournament hosted by Coastlands Netball Kapiti @ Te Atiawa Courts, Percival Street, Paraparaumu
• Sunday 29^th June – Tuesday 1^st July 2025 - North Island Junior Championships hosted by Netball Taranaki at Waiwhakaiho Park Netball Courts, ​​​​​​​605 Devon Street East, New Plymouth (travel dates - depart Saturday 28^th June, return Tuesday 1^st July).

• Sunday 22^nd June 2025 - Dale Wortman U18 Invitational Fixture hosted by Netball Wellington Centre at Ākau Tangi Sports Centre in Wellington. 
• Monday 7^th July to Thursday 10^th July 2025 - Netball New Zealand U18 Champs hosted by Dunedin Netball Centre in Dunedin (travel dates: depart Sunday 6^th July, return Thursday 10^th July).
